BioEnergy Wood

The demand for renewable energy sources is continuously growing. Based on the fact that bio-energy has the lion’s share among renewable energy sources, the KWF aims to provide the visitor with a comprehensive insight into the sector “Solid fuel from wood”. This includes all elements in the process chain, from production, proc-essing/refining and marketing including the necessary logistics.
“BioEnergy Wood” presents visitors the full range of available products within this sector. Independent institutes have organized live demonstrations and will provide the visitor with advice on the following key topics:
 
a. Test of technology for fuel wood processing (KWF/Profi)
b. Wood chips from the field – harvesting short-rotation plantations (KWF/DLG)
c. Modern firing techniques and fuel qualities (I.D.E.E. Olsberg)

The show addresses the interests of the diverse target groups, from the private subsistence fuel wood producer to the contractor operating a wood chipper by providing appropriate information and advice and presenting an overview of the current product range.
