Live In-Forest Demonstrations

Facts instead of Adverts!


The Live In-Forest Demonstrations at the 17th  KWF-Tagung begin on Thursday 9th  and end on Saturday 11th of June. There are Opens internal link in current window34 In-forest stations presenting demonstrations on forest establishment, young stand tending, wood harvesting and energy wood production as well as current spotlight topics (work safety, ecology, forest conservation, logistics).

The demonstrations are scheduled to run continuously between 9 am and 6 pm on all three days. Every presentation will last between 30 and 60 minutes. A circular bus route will connect all In-forest stations. Before visiting the Live Demonstrations, visitors are advised to select an appropriate number of stations depending on their time budget and fields of interest.


The KWF-Fair Guide contains detailed descriptions of all station, including information about the procedure, as well as machine capacities and costs, ergonomics, work safety and ecological impact (e.g. ground and stand impact). The guide will be available shortly before the start of the event. In addition to this, the special issue of the AFZ magazine, which will be available on May 30, 2016, will contain the complete fair guide.

The well-established “Demo-package” will once again be on offer to visitors of the Live Demonstrations in 2016. This special combined ticket allows entrance to all In-Forest Demonstrations as well as the EXPO, including the bus transfer and the informative fair guide. The ticket will be available in advance for an additional 15 € for non-KWF members or 10 € for members.
